If he can stay healthy, I think he will do well this year.

Backs can be frustrating to watch at times. He drives the net, skates hard, and creates opportunities. His chances have been there as you clearly show, but it seems like he gets jumpy when opportunities to bury the puck come around. If he gets significant powerplay time this year, that could really boost his confidence and mindset.

I don't know what happened......all I know is I woke up about an hour after I was supposed to be at work. Managed to make it in eventually, now I'm just a hurtin' Albertan for certain.

I think he'll break out this season and get 50-60 points. Playing on a line with Sven will definitely be entertaining, those guys have so much skill. Backs just needs to stay healthy and the rest will fall into place.

Definitely poopty....but signing that contract was their fault, whether or not he stayed or left.

He put up solid numbers in Sweden, during the lockout. Health will always be my biggest concern. He will come to camp ready.

Easy there, Forsberg for Erat.

Based on the limited amount I've watched him, I feel like Backlund is a bit miscast as an offensive centre. And Raymond had great advanced stats too, but he's only effective against the Flames. Still, young players can definitely raise their game if they want it enough. I hope for your sakes' he's an entertaining and productive player next year.
